In this Chartered/Senior Building Surveyor role, you’ll join a growing London Building Surveying team within a specialist property consultancy. You will deliver commercially focused surveying advice across a varied commercial portfolio and manage instructions end-to-end, while strengthening client relationships. The role combines established business support with growth opportunities as the London team scales. You’ll contribute to business development and help shape the team’s development in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities

• Provide a varied range of professional Building Surveying services for a commercial property portfolio
• Offer strategic, commercially focused dilapidations advice for national clients
• Undertake Contract Administration and manage instructions from start to finish
• Deliver TDD, Vendor Surveys, and Pre-Acquisition Surveys as relevant
• Lead instructions with strong client communication and commercial guidance
• Strengthen client relationships and support the London team’s growth
• Contribute to business development using the secured pipeline of work
• Work across a mix of professional surveying instructions within the established business

Key requirements

• Proven track record delivering professional Building Surveying services for commercial properties
• Experience providing commercially focused advice across varied surveying work
• Confidence leading instructions independently while managing clients
• Experience with dilapidations and other professional surveying duties in commercial settings
• Ability to undertake Contract Administration, TDD, Vendor Surveys or Pre-Acquisition Surveys
• Existing client connections or clear evidence of ambitious business development
• Motivation to contribute to growth within a recently established London team
