Overview

In this role you lead a strategic FSP account, driving operational excellence and financial performance. You will manage a global, matrixed team and strengthen executive-client relationships to grow the partnership. You’ll steer resource planning, quality and delivery, and identify opportunities to expand services. This is a high-impact, customer-facing leadership role shaping how Parexel scales its FSP capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize and oversee account-level delivery including teams, resources, quality, and efficiency
  • Develop and execute resourcing plans and ensure high-quality deliverables across the FSP portfolio
  • Drive budgets, costs, and revenue opportunities to optimize margins
  • Lead and develop a skilled team with coaching, training, and performance management
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, analyze performance, and support data-driven decisions
  • Serve as primary contact for the FSP client, align with governance meetings and stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue new business within existing FSP accounts and support RFP responses
  • Provide strategic direction to functional leads to maintain profitability targets
  • Collaborate with Commercial Leads and FSP Consultants to drive account growth
  • Maintain alignment with Parexel capabilities and customer satisfaction

Key requirements

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in CROs, pharmaceutical/biotech or FSP environments
  • Experience leading large, matrixed, geographically dispersed teams
  • Proven success managing strategic customer relationships at senior/executive levels
  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting and profitability management
  • Experience driving operational performance across complex portfolios or programs
  • Experience supporting business development activities and client presentations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and decision-making skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Healthcare, or related field or equivalent
  • Preferred: MBA, MS, PharmD, PhD or equivalent; extensive FSP leadership experience
