Overview

As Pensions Governance Executive, you will support the governance of DHL Group’s UK Pension Plan by working with the Trustee Board and Pensions Operations Committee. You’ll coordinate committee activities, maintain governance records, and drive risk, compliance, and improvement initiatives. You will engage with advisers, administrators, and internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and regulatory disclosures. This role sits at the core of pension governance within a global logistics leader, offering exposure to senior stakeholders and opportunities to shape governance processes. You will help enhance governance effectiveness and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide governance support to the Trustee Board and Pensions Operations Committee (POC)
  • Coordinate committee activities including agendas, papers, minutes, actions, and governance records
  • Maintain governance documentation (policies, registers, terms of reference, business plans)
  • Support risk management, compliance, and governance improvement initiatives
  • Manage governance projects and ensure milestones/actions are delivered
  • Coordinate IDRP cases and data breach processes
  • Collaborate with advisers, administrators, suppliers, and internal teams for service delivery
  • Support Trustee communications, regulatory disclosures, and continuous governance improvement

Key requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in pensions governance or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of UK occupational pensions governance, legislation, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience supporting Trustee Boards, committees, or governance processes
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with senior stakeholders and external advisers
  • Experience in risk management, compliance, project management, or process improvement is desirable
