Overview
In this role, you will drive growth in Pen’s Specialty portfolio by managing a panel of key brokers and expanding niche products. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to translate market opportunities into tangible GWP growth, with a focus on fostering high-trust broker partnerships. The position is based in London and involves significant market engagement and strategic pipeline management. You’ll help shape Pen’s Specialty strategy while delivering value to clients and brokers in a dynamic, ambitious environment.

Responsibilities
- Manage a panel of ~20 key broker relationships within Specialty (e.g., Marine, PI, Cyber, Clean Energy, Technology, London Market Casualty)
- Drive organic growth for Pen within assigned broker panel on Specialty classes
- Collaborate across Pen’s three trading divisions with senior-level stakeholder management
- Maintain a strong market-facing presence; engage with brokers at all levels
- Oversee key activities such as Quarterly Business Reviews and Strategic pipeline management for Specialty
- Develop and execute broker strategies to strengthen relationships and pipeline
Key requirements
- Extensive experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in a Specialty insurance environment
- Proven ability to manage broker relationships and deliver growth in Specialty lines
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence at senior levels
- Proactive, market-facing approach with ability to build relationships across broker organisations
