Development Lead

Overview

As Lead Developer, you will validate design assumptions and drive the production release of our training platform and its services. You will collaborate with the Product Owner and Technical Leads to shape the architecture, scale to cloud and on‑prem environments, and ensure robust delivery. You will build and guide a platform delivery team, emphasize critical priorities, and foster continuous improvement through Agile coaching. This role centers on delivering a secure, scalable microservice‑based solution in Azure/AKS and on‑premise servers, with a strong emphasis on cross‑functional collaboration and delivery excellence.

Responsibilities

• Establish best practices for software development and delivery across teams
• Build and maintain a platform delivery team and ensure high collaboration
• Foster focus on critical tasks for product and service delivery
• Coach and mentor team in applying Agile tools and techniques
• Lead development and delivery of the training platform and supporting services
• Collaborate closely with Product Owner and Technical Leads to validate design and drive production release

Key requirements

• Experience developing applications in C# with .NET Core
• Experience designing and building a microservice‑based solution (communication gateway, authentication, message queue)
• Experience deploying containerized microservices to cloud Kubernetes (Azure AKS) and on‑prem servers
• Experience automated CI/CD pipelines, ideally with Azure DevOps
• Experience automated infrastructure deployment using Terraform or equivalent
• Knowledge of infrastructure controls, security, and operational performance
