Overview

In this role you will support Charity clients by coordinating from initial onboarding through ongoing account maintenance. You will work closely with Investment Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality service and accurate data management. You will handle client queries, AML/compliance considerations, and coordinate with third parties, custodians, and consultants. You will also mentor junior colleagues and provide timely coverage for the Client Administration Team. This position offers exposure to charity portfolio administration within a regulated asset management environment and a chance to improve internal processes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate client onboarding with Investment Managers and internal/third-party colleagues
  • Arrange account openings and maintain client accounts, including AML reviews and amendments
  • Liaise with custodians and third parties on derivative/FX accounts
  • Develop ongoing client relationships and provide data/system administration
  • Handle client queries (reports, cash transactions, custody, transitions)
  • Coordinate with external consultants/audit firms as requested
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high levels of client service
  • Provide guidance or training to junior team members and other areas as required
  • Support and cover for the Client Administration Team
  • Attend client meetings when required

Key requirements

  • Experience in client take-on within an Asset Management environment, with charity portfolio administration preferred
  • Understanding of AML, Compliance, MiFID, EU Directives, FATCA/CRS
  • Minimum 2 years in a similar role
  • Knowledge of Asset Management structure and organisation
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task to meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Numerical, analytical and PC skills
  • Knowledge of investment parameters for discretionary portfolios
  • Familiarity with investment instruments, corporate actions and capital gains tax rules
  • Relevant industry qualification such as IOC
  • Excellent communication
