Overview
In this role you will support the delivery of UK infrastructure programs with a primary focus on the water sector. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide expert geotechnical guidance to contractors, driving high-quality, nature-positive solutions. You will perform site characterization, interpretative reporting, and engineering analyses to manage ground risk and enable actionable design decisions. This is a growing team role with clear career progression within AMP8 and broader infrastructure projects. You will work in a flexible setup across Warrington, Exeter, or Bristol, contributing to sustainable community outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Support delivery of UK infrastructure programs with emphasis on the water sector
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams
- Provide expert geotechnical advice to contractors
- Carry out site characterization activities including data collection and desk studies
- Prepare interpretative geotechnical reports for ground investigations
- Perform engineering analyses using industry software and standards
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or related subject
- Chartered member or actively working towards chartership with ICE or Geological Society
- Solid foundation in site characterization, technical reporting, and engineering analysis
