Overview
As HR Manager, you will lead the day-to-day HR function across a multi-site business in growth mode. You’ll partner with leaders to align the people strategy with business objectives, shaping the employee experience and leadership capability. You’ll balance operational delivery with strategic input, driving engagement and retention in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on role with real impact on culture, policies, and change initiatives that support scalable growth.

Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day HR function across the organisation
- Partner with leaders to guide the full employee lifecycle
- Advise on employee relations, performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance processes
- Lead end-to-end recruitment during growth
- Embed succession planning frameworks
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and onboarding/development programmes
- Review and implement HR policies compliant with employment laws
- Utilise people data to inform workforce planning
- Coach managers to build capable, accountable teams
- Support organisational change initiatives
Key requirements
- Proven experience as HR Manager, Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Familiarity with Mapal and Harri HRIS
- Experience managing full employee lifecycle in growing organisations
- Track record of improving engagement, retention or HR processes
- Experience supporting organisational change and business growth
- Knowledge of EU HR Law an advantage
- Relationship builder with influence across levels
- Commercially aware and solution-focused
- Strong communication and hands-on approach
