Banking Lawyer

Overview

In this role you join the London Banking & Finance team to advise on a broad range of financing transactions for banks, lenders, investors, and corporates. You will manage transactions from inception to completion, work closely with clients, and supervise junior lawyers while contributing to business development. The role offers exposure to high‑quality, cross‑border work within a collaborative, growth‑driven firm. Responsibilities

• Advise on financing transactions from inception to completion
• Own day-to-day transaction management and client delivery
• Interact directly with clients and build long-term relationships
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas
• Supervise and support junior lawyers as appropriate
• Contribute to business development and practice growth

Key requirements

• 3-6 years’ PQE as a solicitor in England & Wales or Scotland
• Strong experience in banking and finance transactions
• Excellent technical drafting and analytical skills
• Ability to provide clear, practical, commercially focused advice
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Proactive and collaborative approach to working with clients and colleagues
