Overview

In this role you will lead the design and delivery of GenAI-enabled solutions for energy customers, integrating AWS AI services with partner components. You’ll prototype production-grade architectures, guide energy teams, and shape AI-native products for regulated environments. You’ll translate customer needs into blueprints and help drive adoption across the energy vertical. This builder-focused position offers the chance to influence roadmaps, publish technical guidance, and deliver scalable GenAI solutions that impact real-world energy operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver generative AI solutions for energy customers across domains
• Architect end-to-end AI pipelines integrating foundation models, speech, vision, and tool-use agents with energy platforms
• Build production-quality proof-of-concepts of agentic capabilities and productivity tooling
• Lead technical engagements with energy engineering teams on analytics and AI architectures
• Provide strategic guidance on deploying AI agents into energy environments, focusing on latency, reliability, compliance, and scale
• Develop reference architectures and reusable blueprints combining Bedrock, AgentCore, Kiro/Claude Code/Codex, and partner components
• Influence AWS AI service roadmaps by capturing customer requirements and coordinating with service teams
• Publish whitepapers, blogs, and reference implementations establishing AWS’s GenAI stance for energy/telecom contexts
• Drive customer growth through GenAI-focused sales in partnership with AWS Sales
• Build trusted advisor relationships with senior energy technology leaders
• Collaborate with SAs, Sales, BD, and AI/ML Service teams to accelerate adoption
• Support an AWS internal Data & AI SME community and create field enablement materials for SAs

Key requirements

• 10+ years in technology domains (software, cloud, systems engineering, security, data & analytics)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
• Experience evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps and cloud transformations
• Experience communicating to technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level
