Overview

In this role, you design, test, and integrate digital and mixed-signal electronics for advanced camera and sensor systems. You will collaborate with the technical lead to refine designs and support system integration in an agile environment. The position offers hands-on engineering work with opportunities to influence design direction and product improvements. Your work will contribute to cutting-edge imaging technology and international deployments, including drone-related applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and test digital and mixed-signal electronics for camera and sensor systems
  • Develop and refine PCB designs and support system-level integration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on electronics, signal processing, and FPGA-based systems
  • Support prototype builds, testing, and validation of complex electronic assemblies
  • Input into product design, manufacturability, and long-term system improvements
  • Participate in project meetings, contributing to innovation and continuous improvement

Key requirements

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar
  • 2+ years’ experience in electronics design, testing, or integration (3+ years ideal)
  • Experience with digital and mixed-signal circuit design and FPGA
  • Knowledge of signal processing and fast microcontrollers
  • Experience with camera or imaging systems is desirable but not essential
  • Proficiency with PCB design tools (experience with Fusion beneficial)
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Must have the right to work in the UK/Ireland – no visa sponsorship available
