Operations Manager, R2L

Overview

In this role, you will lead a site-level operations team to drive safety, quality, and productivity, shaping the operational plan to meet site targets. You’ll act as a bridge between multiple functions, from HR to Safety, and push initiatives that raise performance. You’ll mentor Area Managers and shape the tomorrow’s Amazon by driving operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Area Managers
• Lead operational teams on a shift and address issues to improve site performance
• Analyze shift performance against business objectives and implement improvements
• Collaborate with support teams (HR, Finance, Health and Safety, Security)
• Design and deliver site initiatives to boost operational performance

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Advanced degree
• Experience in stakeholder management across multiple organizational levels
• Strong English written and verbal communication
• Experience making data-driven business decisions
• Experience in operations/supply chain
• MS Office suite experience (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques (preferred)
• Experience in logistics/operations environment (preferred)
