Quantity Surveyor

Overview

You will own the commercial delivery of a high-value RC-frame residential development in South West London. You’ll work with an experienced commercial and construction team from procurement through final account, focusing on major subcontract packages and on-site support. This role blends procurement, cost control, and contract management to drive successful delivery for a market-leading residential developer. You’ll operate in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a clear impact on project outcomes. This is an opportunity to shape commercial performance on a high-profile scheme.

Responsibilities

• Procurement and management of subcontract packages
• Prepare tender enquiries, analyse returns and make recommendations
• Cost reporting, forecasting and budget control
• Valuation and payment of subcontractors
• Manage variations, risk and contractual matters
• Collaborate with site and project teams to ensure commercial delivery

Key requirements

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor with a residential developer or main contractor
• Strong knowledge of RC frame residential construction
• Experience procuring and managing subcontract packages
• Good contractual and commercial awareness
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
