Signalling Design Engineer

Overview

In this role you will support the signalling design team to deliver rail projects to required standards and budget. You will join a large civil engineering organisation and contribute to a range of key projects. The position offers a chance to apply extensive signalling expertise in a demanding, project-driven environment. This role provides a clear path to showcase technical leadership and deliver impactful railway signalling designs.

Responsibilities

• support signalling design team in delivering to standards and budget
• contribute to rail signalling design across projects
• collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
• maintain high engineering quality and compliance with NEC contracts (as applicable)
• drive clear communication and coordination within the design team

Key requirements

• 10 years experience in design and construction of rail projects
• experience of NEC contracts
• extensive signalling experience
• IRSE licence
• excellent communication
• highly motivated self-starter
• strong engineering background with qualifications
