SAP Engineering / Admin Consultant

Overview

In this role you support SAP-enabled business processes within a defence client’s secure environment, spanning manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and resource planning. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve processes, ensure data flows between SAP and other systems, and assist with SAP–TeamCenter integration. The role emphasizes compliance, documentation, and operational efficiency in a highly regulated setting. This is an on-site position in Reading with active DV clearance essential, offering a meaningful impact on critical manufacturing and engineering operations.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP-enabled business processes across manufacturing and engineering environments
• Provide operational and administrative support for MRP and production planning activities
• Support procurement, purchasing and inventory management processes
• Investigate and resolve system and process-related issues
• Support data flows and integration between SAP and associated enterprise systems
• Assist with SAP and TeamCenter integration and related engineering processes
• Work with business and technical stakeholders to improve processes and operational efficiency
• Produce and maintain documentation, procedures and operational guidance
• Support business-critical processes within a highly regulated and secure environment
• Ensure compliance with all relevant security and operational procedures

Key requirements

• Practical experience working with SAP-enabled business processes
• Understanding of MRP and production planning
• Knowledge of SAP purchasing and procurement processes (purchase requisitions, purchase orders)
• Experience supporting SAP users and business operations
• Understanding of manufacturing, engineering or production environments
• Exposure to TeamCenter / PLM environments
• Awareness of SAP-to-TeamCenter integration and data exchange
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
