In this role you will lead the Manufacturing Engineering function at the Southport site, shaping the engineering roadmap and driving capability to support operational excellence and growth. You will develop a team, industrialise new products, and implement robust, safe processes for high-quality, efficient manufacturing. The position emphasizes continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven problem solving to reduce waste and raise Right First Time performance. This is a hands-on leadership role with a clear impact on site performance and customer value.

Responsibilities
- Define the site’s manufacturing engineering roadmap and establish process standards to drive Right First Time
Key requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)
- Proven people leadership in a Manufacturing or Production Engineering function
- Experience in NPI, industrialisation projects, and short-batch manufacturing
- Strong lean manufacturing background and SPC
- Structured root-cause problem solving and technical reporting
- Excellent interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders across levels
