Currency Administration – Senior Product Development Specialist

Overview

In this role, you lead product development efforts for the Global FX business, combining project management, business analysis, and research to identify opportunities and plan strategic initiatives. You will work closely with systems, risk, FX, and operations teams to deliver enhancements and improve efficiency. You contribute to a culture of partnership, mentorship, and client-focused service while shaping currency administration solutions at BBH.

Responsibilities

• Review, document, and refine business requirements for upcoming CA development items
• Create test scenarios and test cases for integrated system tests; coordinate UAT
• Identify product gaps and opportunities; advise on creative business solutions
• Coordinate the business implications of technology implementations on current/future environment
• Incorporate process improvements to lower costs and boost efficiency
• Support currency administration client service teams
• Manage product development initiatives from inception to implementation
• Ensure timely delivery of enhancements within scope and budget; maintain cross-group communication across Systems, Risk, FX, Operations

Key requirements

• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor in finance (preferred)
• Knowledge of foreign exchange trading instruments
• Excellent business analysis skills (requirements, workflows)
• Strong interpersonal, consultative, and advisory abilities
• Ability to analyze complex issues and make sound decisions
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with time-sensitive deadlines
• Experience with desktop tools, including Microsoft Office; advanced Excel and VBA; knowledge of coding languages
