Overview
As a Sprinkler Installation Engineer, you will install and commission fire protection systems on diverse projects across the UK. You’ll work hands-on on live sites, solving technical challenges with a safety-first mindset. You’ll collaborate with project teams to ensure systems meet drawings and standards, delivering reliable protection solutions. Responsibilities
- Install, test, commission, and hand over mechanical fire suppression systems (Wet, Dry, Pre-Action, Deluge, Hydrant)
- Conduct flushing, pressure, flow, and functional testing per procedures
- Diagnose and resolve installation, performance, and commissioning issues on-site
- Support pre-commissioning inspections, system demonstrations, and client handover
- Ensure work aligns with approved drawings, project specs, and industry standards
- Coordinate across live sites and customer facilities while maintaining safety and timelines
Key requirements
- Proven experience installing and commissioning fire suppression systems
- Strong mechanical background (pipes, valves, pumps, equipment)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
- Full UK driving licence
- Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards
