Overview

As Senior Legal Counsel in Binance’s global Corporate Legal Affairs team, you drive strategic legal initiatives, corporate governance, and cross-border transactions. You partner with regional teams to enable scalable growth while safeguarding the business through proactive advice and robust risk management. You will lead complex projects such as M&A, reorganisations, and board governance, shaping how the company operates across jurisdictions. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute group legal strategy aligned with business goals
  • Provide proactive, business-focused legal advice and execution
  • Manage legal responses and external communications on corporate matters
  • Lead transactional, reorganisational, and governance initiatives
  • Assist in M&A, investments, joint ventures, and restructurings globally
  • Draft and review legal documents; assess risk and add business value
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and regional teams on complex matters
  • Provide training and counsel to non-legal colleagues on risk management
  • Stay current with evolving laws and harmonize internal approaches
  • Advise on prudent risk-taking and implement practical solutions

Key requirements

  • Qualified to practice law in a leading jurisdiction
  • Typically 8+ years post-qualification corporate legal experience
  • Experience at a top law firm and/or in-house in a corporate or high-growth company
  • Strong track record in corporate transactional work and governance
  • Proven ability to manage complex multi-jurisdictional projects
  • Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced in-house environment
