Overview

In this role, you will lead high-profile Defence sector engagements and influence MOD decision-makers. You will leverage your Defence network to identify opportunities, shape outcomes, and drive strategic delivery. You’ll contribute to AMCL’s thought leadership and represent the firm at conferences, while developing client relationships across the Defence ecosystem. This position offers scope to impact how defence assets support the economy and society, with cross-border collaboration and travel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-profile client engagements with responsibility for technical delivery, client relationships, profitability and project metrics
  • Identify and secure new opportunities in the Defence sector leveraging your knowledge and network
  • Shape solutions to meet client needs and manage delivery teams for optimal outcomes
  • Advise senior leaders on business shaping and internal capability development
  • Develop and manage key relationships across the Defence sector
  • Identify business opportunities in new and existing markets
  • Drive thought leadership and represent AMCL at global conferences
  • Coach and mentor team members

Key requirements

  • Strong track record in the Ministry of Defence with a broad network of contacts
  • Experienced decision maker comfortable working with leadership teams to set direction
  • Experience working on or with asset or infrastructure projects
  • Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Broad network across the Defence sector
  • Analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance competing needs and manage time and workload effectively
