In this Digital Brand Designer role, you will shape Starling’s brand identity across digital touchpoints, with a focus on the web experience. You’ll translate briefs into premium digital executions, collaborating with writers, marketers, data analysts, and developers to craft cohesive journeys. Your work ranges from large web campaigns to nuanced micro-interactions, elevating the brand through thoughtful, data-informed design. Responsibilities

  • Design high-quality, engaging web experiences aligned with brand principles
  • Translate briefs and campaigns into strong digital executions
  • Use data, analytics, and feedback to iteratively improve the website
  • Prepare design files for development and ensure technical feasibility in production
  • Maintain visual consistency across layouts, typography, imagery, and interactive elements
  • Collaborate with writers, marketers, engineers, and product designers to shape digital journeys
  • Present design concepts and rationale to peers and stakeholders
  • Contribute to creative reviews and foster design excellence
  • Evolve digital brand expression, including motion, micro-interactions, and new layouts

Key requirements

  • Proven design experience in a digital brand, marketing, or creative studio
  • Portfolio showcasing original thinking and strong digital/web layout sense
  • High proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Experience using data, user feedback, or A/B testing to inform design decisions
  • Confidence presenting work and collaborating with developers
  • Some knowledge of HTML/CSS (understanding web build is a plus)
  • Understanding of basic web animation/motion (Lottie or Rive)
  • Clear communication and ability to explain design decisions
  • Curiosity and openness to feedback
  • Collaborative mindset and team-oriented
  • Figma (web layouts, prototyping, developer handovers)
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Data-informed design (A/B testing insights)
