Overview
You will build and lead the Cost Management capability in JLL Manchester, leveraging a broad QS/CM background to service occupier and investor clients. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and drive procurement and value optimization on landmark projects. Responsibilities
- Establish and grow a local Cost Management presence and team
- Undertake feasibility cost estimates and detailed cost plans
- Assess and communicate design risk; provide cost-driven design guidance
- Deliver post-contract duties: payments, cost reporting, and contract administration
- Collaborate with clients, design teams and contractors to optimise solutions
- Understand project procurement routes and identify value opportunities
- Lead data collection for benchmarking and knowledge management
- Manage client relationships and participate in business development
- Support bids and engage with other areas of the business
- Deliver projects for occupier and investor clients from inception to completion
Key requirements
- Post-qualified experience with a track record across multiple sectors and project sizes
- Ability to manage and direct client relationships and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience contributing to bids and business development
- Background in QS/CM with hands-on cost management
- MRICS is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate
- Strong communication, numerical and proposal writing skills
- Proficiency in English and ability to meet deadlines
