Overview

In this Exeter-based role you join a growing Property Litigation team to handle high‑value disputes for a diverse client base. You will work closely with Partners, gain early responsibility, and manage own matters within a supportive, ambitious culture. Responsibilities

  • Handle commercial landlord and tenant disputes
  • Advise on Building Safety Act matters
  • Manage real property disputes (rights of way, adverse possession, boundary issues, harassment)
  • Oversee commercial and residential service charge disputes
  • Manage property insolvency and secured recoveries
  • Develop own matters with direct client exposure
  • Collaborate with Partners and senior fee earners to support clients

Key requirements

  • Experience in property litigation during training contract or NQ role
  • Exposure to residential and commercial disputes (advantageous)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted client relationships
  • Good judgement, empathy and professionalism in sensitive matters
  • Strong organisational skills and resilience under pressure
  • High attention to detail and proactive, thorough approach
