Residential Surveyor

Overview

As a Residential Surveyor, you will conduct HomeBuyer Surveys and Red Book valuations for residential clients, while working with support from an internal team. Based in London or the Home Counties, you will also perform Level 3 Building Surveys where appropriate and prepare clear, professional reports using digital platforms. You’ll manage your diary and travel within the coverage area, ensuring all work adheres to RICS standards. The role offers a competitive salary, bonus potential, and flexible working arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Undertake RICS HomeBuyer Surveys and Red Book residential valuations
• Complete Level 3 Building Surveys where suitable
• Prepare clear, accurate reports using digital platforms
• Manage diary and appointments with administrative support
• Provide clients with practical advice and clear explanations
• Ensure all work meets RICS standards and internal quality procedures

Key requirements

• 5+ years of surveying experience
• RICS qualified with current membership
• Experience completing HomeBuyer Reports and Red Book valuations
• RICS Registered Valuer status or eligibility
• Confident using digital systems and survey platforms
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the area
