Contracts Manager

Overview

As Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple residential groundworks projects from pre-start to handover, ensuring on-time delivery and strict safety standards. You will coordinate with site managers, clients and subcontractors to maintain performance and quality while managing budgets and schedules. You’ll lead site teams, resolve on-site challenges, and nurture strong client relationships, reporting progress to senior management and driving continuous improvement. This is a pivotal role in a growing company with a strong pipeline and a culture that values quality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver 4-6 residential groundwork projects concurrently
• Coordinate with site managers, clients and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery
• Oversee budgets, schedules and health & safety standards
• Lead site teams with emphasis on quality, safety and performance
• Resolve on-site issues and maintain excellent client relationships
• Report progress to senior management and contribute to continuous improvement

Key requirements

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager
• Knowledge of residential groundworks including foundations, roads, drainage and infrastructure
• Excellent project and people management skills
• Commercial awareness with contract and cost control knowledge
