Overview
In this Senior Consultant role, you will help financial services clients advance sustainable finance initiatives by applying ESG data and technology to risk and reporting challenges. You will work within EY’s Sustainable Finance Technology team to deliver data-driven solutions, guide project delivery, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Your work will span transformation programs, regulatory disclosures, and ESG technology strategy, enabling clients to meet sustainability targets. Responsibilities
- Support ESG technology engagements standalone or as part of a larger transformation agenda
- Contribute to developing tech services, approaches, and solutions for sustainability objectives
- Develop tactical/strategic solutions to sustainability tech and data issues via data analysis, frameworks, or tool/model development with developers
- Assist in sales activities: drafting proposals, meeting clients, contributing to branding and marketing, managing pipeline
- Take responsibility on ESG technology engagements
- Partner with sustainability-focused teams to align tech/data input with broader ESG strategy
- Build relationships with ESG technology vendors to secure resources and expertise
- Provide innovative insights and contribute to thought leadership
- Drive operational efficiency on projects through budgeting, billing, and resourcing
- Mentor junior team members and foster their development
Key requirements
- Experience in ESG and/or sustainable finance projects, especially in banking, insurance, pensions, wealth & asset management, or private equity
- Professional experience in data management and/or technology delivery
- Consulting-ready skills to understand client needs and craft innovative solutions
- Strong academic record with a degree and ideally relevant professional qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years relevant professional experience
