Responsibilities
- lead the structural design and assessment of heritage projects
- collaborate with architects and engineers in a multidisciplinary team
- develop innovative, sustainable design proposals for heritage contexts
- contribute to project planning, detailing, and technical reporting
- support and participate in Chartership training and professional development
- mentor junior engineers and share knowledge through CPD sessions
- ensure compliance with relevant codes and heritage conservation principles
- engage with clients to communicate design intent and constraints
Key requirements
- experience in heritage buildings structures
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or actively pursuing Chartership
- strong design-led mindset and problem-solving ability
