Overview
In this role you will join Stantec Energy Transition UK as a Principal Civil Design Engineer to lead civil design across a range of energy sector projects. You will work within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team to deliver FEED and detailed design, helping clients progress energy projects sustainably across the UK. You will tackle technical challenges that advance the UK energy transition and shape resilient infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Provide technical civil design solutions for energy sector projects
- Develop detailed designs and support FEED and detailed design phases
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and support Project Managers and Team Leaders
- Engage with clients to understand requirements and deliver value
- Contribute to innovative, sustainable solutions addressing efficiency and environmental challenges
- Support knowledge sharing and contribute to best practices within the team
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (minimum)
- Experience in energy sector projects
- Knowledge of National Grid’s Transmission procedures (preferred)
- Pro-active, client-focused and collaborative
- On route to Chartered Engineer with ICE/Engineering Council (preferred)
