Overview

In this role you will lead Anthropic’s EMEA sales for Beneficial Deployments, driving Claude adoption among mission-driven organizations. You will build and guide a regional sales team while personally closing complex deals, aligning with global strategy. You’ll navigate multi-stakeholder ecosystems across nonprofits, education, and emerging markets, shaping partnerships and contributing to responsible AI deployment. This is a dynamic, ambiguity-tolerant role with meaningful social impact and cross-border collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Win new business and drive revenue within EMEA mission-driven organizations
  • Build and lead a regional sales team, including hiring priorities and scalable processes
  • Design and execute tailored sales strategies for diverse EMEA contexts (grants, budgets, regulatory environments)
  • Navigate executive and procurement stakeholders to build consensus and close deals
  • Develop relationships with nonprofit networks and education ecosystems; engage implementation partners
  • Gather regional feedback to inform product roadmaps (data sovereignty, language support, compliance)
  • Refine EMEA sales methodology; adapt global processes with regional insights
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR/UK GDPR and address data sovereignty and AI ethics concerns
  • Collaborate with Salesforce-based teams across time zones and maintain alignment with global stakeholders
  • Help shape team culture and processes as the team scales from 1 to N

Key requirements

  • 8+ years of B2B sales in nonprofit technology, EdTech, or social impact sectors
  • Track record closing strategic deals with nonprofits, INGOs, foundations, or educational institutions
  • Experience building and scaling sales teams across multiple time zones and cultures
  • Deep understanding of nonprofit/education sector operations, federated structures, and procurement dynamics
  • Ability to navigate diverse stakeholder ecosystems (trustees, EDs, programme officers, IT, procurement)
  • Scrappy, multi-hat mentality; ability to operate in ambiguity and drive impact
  • Strong knowledge of GDPR/UK data protection and AI ethics considerations
  • Proven revenue achievement with autonomous pipeline management across segments and time zones
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication and adaptability in English; French and other European languages valued
