Overview
As part of the Controls & Performance Programme Advisory team, you will advise on project and programme controls to help clients optimise governance and delivery. You will work with cross‑functional teams on complex projects, shaping methodologies, and driving tangible outcomes. The role blends client engagement, workshops, and delivery of control-focused solutions that support decision making and value realisation. This is a chance to influence major programmes and contribute to Turner & Townsend’s growth and transformation agenda.

Responsibilities
- Assess client environments to identify challenges and design fit-for-purpose control solutions
- Document findings and recommendations across engagement stages
- Facilitate workshops in virtual and in-person settings with client stakeholders
- Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams on client sites and remotely
- Apply and tailor established methodologies, tools, and systems to client needs
- Contribute to continuous improvement and develop both client-facing and internal initiatives
- Drive internal transformation product development and approaches within the team
- Support business development activities such as bids and proposals alongside senior management
- Engage in marketing and employee advocacy as appropriate
- Provide line management and development for direct reports
Key requirements
- Experience in Defence sector and major capital projects/programmes
- 3–5 years’ experience in Project Controls with PMO/controls & performance exposure
- Experience across schedule, cost, risk, change or performance reporting in infrastructure or similar sectors
- Familiarity with capability/maturity assessments and integrated controls & performance processes
- Ability to present reports and navigate complex stakeholder environments including C-suite
- Proficiency in Office 365, Visio, Miro, Slack, Teams; experience with Oracle Primavera, PRISM, Power BI or similar
