Senior Manager – FS Corporate Tax

Overview

In this Senior Manager role, you lead high‑quality corporate tax advisory work for financial services clients and help grow the FS tax practice. You will engage with major UK and global banks, insurers and asset managers, delivering advisory and compliance support in a dynamic tax landscape. You’ll manage client relationships, oversee portfolios and contribute to business development from day one. You work in a collaborative, national team that values remote collaboration and technical depth. This is your chance to shape impactful tax outcomes for leading financial services clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver corporate tax advisory engagements for FS clients
• Provide tax technical advice, including Pillar Two support where required
• Manage and review corporate tax and Pillar Two compliance (optional)
• Build and manage client relationships with commercial oversight
• Support tax audit work for FS audit clients
• Contribute to business development and help win new client work
• Operate with autonomy and client ownership across diverse projects

Key requirements

• Senior Manager level experience with strong UK corporate tax
• CTA and/or ACA/CA qualified (or equivalent HMRC/legal/international qualification)
• Strong technical understanding of UK corporate tax and issue-resolution capabilities
• Excellent communication skills and client-facing confidence
• Ability to coach and develop junior team members
• Experience managing client portfolios and identifying opportunities
