Senior Associate, Speechwriting and Research

Overview

In this role you partner with the Group CEO to craft speeches, briefing materials and executive content, shaping the Group’s narrative across key themes. You will identify speaking opportunities and coordinate cross-functional input to project leadership externally. You’ll work with the CEO Office and CAM to deliver high-impact communications for strategic moments. The role offers visibility across senior leadership and a chance to influence the external perception of LSEG during a period of innovation in AI and global markets.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality briefing materials, speeches and executive communications for the Group CEO and other senior leaders
• Triages inbound speaker and external engagement requests for the Group CEO across functions
• Support development and execution of the CEO’s proactive speaker engagement programme
• Identify organic speaking and thought leadership opportunities for the Group CEO and other executives
• Collaborate with content and social teams to amplify executive content
• Shape and evolve the Group narrative on strategic themes
• Work with multiple stakeholders to ensure consistency and impact across channels

Key requirements

• Ability to influence and work closely with senior leaders
• Strong written and research skills with experience navigating complex, deadline-driven environments
• Ability to build and leverage a personal network within large organisations
• Solid understanding of political, macro-economic and regulatory landscapes internationally
• Basic understanding of financial markets, technology and AI industries
