Overview

In this role you will act as a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a super-prime residential contractor based in Chelsea. You will manage cost control and commercial oversight across multiple high-end projects in Central London, with project values up to 10m. You will collaborate with project teams to protect margins and ensure accurate reporting on progress, value, and variations. This is a performance-driven opportunity that combines senior oversight with exposure to luxurious finishes and complex client expectations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support project delivery and commercial success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quantity surveying activities and commercial governance on multiple projects
• Manage cost planning, budgeting, and value reporting to protect margins
• Prepare and review procurement, subcontractor packages, and variations
• Monitor commercial changes and client/stakeholder communications
• Coordinate with project teams to align design, progress, and finish quality

Key requirements

• Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor within high-end/residential construction
• Experience overseeing multiple projects with value-based allocation
• Strong cost control, budgeting, and procurement capabilities
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Knowledge of contract administration and commercial reporting (as applicable)
