Overview

In this role you own the Discovery experience and steer AI-powered personalisation at scale within a London-based consumer tech business. You’ll shape the strategy and roadmap for search, discovery, and ML-driven features across a global team, balancing automation with a warm human touch. You work closely with data science, engineering and design to drive engagement and findability while maintaining service warmth. This is a high-impact, transformation-driven role at the intersection of AI and customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Define vision and roadmap for search, discovery and AI-powered personalisation across the platform
  • Develop ML-driven recommendation engines, dynamic feeds and ranking algorithms to surface relevant content
  • Automate high-volume workflows while preserving personal, considered service
  • Create merchandising tools for curated collections, campaigns and partner promotions
  • Track discovery metrics and run experiments to improve findability and engagement
  • Mentor junior PMs and collaborate with a distributed, cross-functional team

Key requirements

  • 5+ years in product management
  • Background in search, personalisation, or AI-driven product experiences
  • Experience balancing automation with human experience
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to bring structure to fast-moving environments
  • Strong analytical foundation with data science concepts, ML features, and experimentation
  • Excellent communicator capable of influencing senior stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
