Overview
In this Programme Director – Engineering role, you lead delivery of complex defence and nuclear engineering programmes across FEED and detailed design. Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of large-scale defence and nuclear engineering programmes across FEED and detailed design phases
- Govern programme performance and technical excellence across multidisciplinary teams
- Interface with clients and partners to shape strategic direction and manage expectations
- Oversee risk management, cost and schedule controls, and deliver high-quality outcomes
- Operate in a safety-focused environment with governance and compliance
- Influence senior stakeholders and executive clients to align on programme goals
Key requirements
- Proven leadership delivering large-scale engineering or EPC programmes
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams and workstreams
- Strong background in programme cost, schedule, and risk management
- Experience in regulated or safety-critical industries (energy, nuclear, defence, infrastructure)
- Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and executive clients
- Degree in Engineering
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent professional accreditation
