Responsibilities
- Administer HR policies, programs, and practices across the plant
- Partner with plant leadership to plan and implement HR initiatives meeting business needs
- Implement corporate HR practices locally and drive communication across levels
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and performance management processes
- Lead employee training and development programs, including Supervisor FLEX training
- Manage recruitment for salaried roles; define job design and selection criteria
- Oversee onboarding for new hires in coordination with hiring managers and support functions
- Implement safety, affirmative action, and employee relations programs
- Advise site managers on HR strategy and organizational development
- Drive culture change via employee survey programs and engagement actions
- Participate in site governance meetings and prepare for HR-related requests
- Lead and develop the HR team and ensure occupational health duties are fulfilled
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements
- 5+ years in an HR Manager role within a manufacturing environment
- BS or BA in Human Resource Management or equivalent
- Knowledge of contemporary legal trends
- Exemplary communication, analytical and organizational skills
- HR generalist experience in professional organizations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRMS (Oracle preferred)
