MEP Quantity Surveyor

Overview

In this role, you will lead the commercial management of MEP packages on a major infrastructure project. You will work within a cross-functional team to drive cost control, procurement, and value engineering to meet project targets. You will oversee valuations, variations, and cost reporting while ensuring robust contract administration. This position offers exposure to a globally operating business and a progressive 4-day working week. You will work with stakeholders to deliver high-impact outcomes and must be able to obtain and maintain DV clearance.

Responsibilities

• Leading commercial management from pre-construction through to final account
• Managing procurement, tendering, and subcontractor selection
• Overseeing valuations, variations, and cost reporting
• Driving cost efficiency and value engineering
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders

Key requirements

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying (or similar)
• Experience delivering MEP packages
• Proficient in CostX and Excel
• Solid understanding of NEC, JCT, or similar contracts
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DV Clearance
