Overview

In this role you own the Direct Mail channel end-to-end within a fast-growing fintech, shaping the strategy and execution to drive sustainable growth. You will bridge creative, ops and data to scale a high-potential offline channel, anchored by LTV-driven economics. You’ll build the response model and data pipeline that enables precise targeting and meaningful payback, while leading a team and collaborating with finance, data, product and engineering. This is a rare hybrid opportunity to lead both the channel and the analytics that power it, with autonomy to build from the data up. Responsibilities

  • Own the direct mail strategy end-to-end, setting ambitious, LTV-anchored targets for volume, response, and payback
  • Scale the channel rapidly and sustainably based on economic validation
  • Manage P&L for the channel including forecasting, budgeting and CAC/LTV discipline
  • Develop the response/propensity model to decide who to mail, with what offer, and when
  • Source and stand up the data pipeline (first-party and enrichment data) for targeting
  • Own segmentation, holdouts, and incrementality testing to improve each send
  • Brief and iterate on creative, copy, and offer design to lift response and conversion
  • Run sends, print production, logistics, and vendor management
  • Optimize offer strategy considering eligibility, risk, and lifetime value
  • Build reporting tying sends to funnel, revenue, and LTV; collaborate with data, product, risk, finance and creative teams
  • Hire and develop the analytics/marketing team and leverage AI to scale impact

Key requirements

  • 7+ years in direct mail, CRM, lifecycle or performance marketing; 2–3 years owning a channel end-to-end
  • Hands-on with data: build response/propensity models; SQL/Python for data sourcing and cleaning
  • Proven track record scaling a measurable acquisition or retention channel with CAC/ROI and incremental LTV impact
  • Strong understanding of unit economics and ability to forecast and defend channel economics
  • Experience managing operations: creative briefs, print/mail production, logistics and vendors
  • Strong targeting and measurement skills: segmentation, holdouts, incrementality testing, attribution
  • Commercial communicator capable of earning trust across finance, data, product and engineering
  • Demonstrated use of AI in workflows (analysis, creative, modelling, automation)
