Associate Director – Cost Management – Energy & Natural Resources

Overview

As an Associate Director, you will lead end-to-end cost management for large or complex commissions within the energy and natural resources sector. You will be the primary day-to-day client interface, ensuring objectives are met through a value-added service. You will guide a team to navigate varied contract and commercial models on major programmes, shaping outcomes for clients and the business. This role offers the chance to drive high-impact cost management across renewables, nuclear, T&D and conventional energy projects in a global consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end service delivery as Commission Manager for large/complex commissions
• Serve as key client interface to ensure objectives are met
• Deliver value-added cost management across programmes and projects
• Provide leadership in cost management practices and client advisory

Key requirements

• Proven procurement or commercial management experience
• Experience with broad range of contract and commercial models
• Experience on major programmes and projects
• Experience in the energy and natural resources sector (nuclear, T&D, renewables, conventional energy)
• Experience in leading and managing teams
• MRICS or MCIPS preferred
