Senior Cloud Security Analyst

Overview

In this role you will shape security across the Azure/M365 estate within a purpose‑led organisation undergoing a Microsoft cloud transformation. You will be technically hands‑on with Azure security, CA, Defender and automation, while influencing security controls, risk and design across projects. Acting as a security consultant, you’ll bridge delivery and security operations to secure change portfolios and tooling. The role is based near West Malling with a two‑day‑per‑week on‑site expectation, offering meaningful impact through cloud security leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve security controls for the Azure/M365 estate as it grows
• Advise on secure delivery within change initiatives and projects
• Bridge project delivery and security operations to ensure compliant implementations
• Challenge designs and promote automation to improve security posture
• Influence tooling and security approach across the cloud footprint
• Engage with stakeholders to align security requirements with business goals

Key requirements

• Strong Azure security expertise (Azure AD/CA)
• Experience with Defender and Sentinel
• Automation experience in security tooling or workflows
• Ability to influence risk, controls and design across projects
