Senior Security Consultant

Overview

In this role, you will drive Security Risk Assessment and risk management for clients across transport, infrastructure and property sectors. You’ll lead project delivery within the Security Advisory team and collaborate with cross-functional experts to tailor solutions. You will shape internal methods and service offerings to meet market needs while engaging regulators and stakeholders. This is a client-facing senior position with a focus on delivering proportionate, innovative risk mitigation and strategic guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead security risk assessment and risk management for client projects
• Manage project delivery and project teams, including scope definition and client engagement
• Develop and deliver security advisory services (risk, strategy, operations, governance)
• Contribute to commercial management and pipeline development for fee-earning work
• Shape internal tools, methods and new service offerings aligned with market needs
• Coordinate engagement with regulators and other stakeholders to address security and design criteria

Key requirements

• Minimum 3 years in a relevant security profession within the last five years
• Degree or equivalent qualification relevant to security
• Professional body membership or CSyP/RSES certification or equivalent status
• Experience in professional services consultancy or client-facing roles
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-experts (reports, presentations)
• Experience assessing physical and personnel security risks and delivering practical solutions
• Experience managing projects and teams, including financial monitoring and delivery to programme
• UK SC clearance required (or eligible) and right to work in the UK
