Senior Business System Analyst (Workday Financials)

Overview

In this role, you partner with Finance and Technology to design, optimize, and support cloud-based enterprise financial and planning systems. You translate business needs into scalable solutions and drive improvements across processes, data models, and reporting. You ensure system stability, compliance, and long-term scalability while supporting testing, deployment, and production operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver transformations that unlock business value and improve finance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for enterprise finance systems across Financial Management, Procurement, Banking & Settlement, Projects, Expenses, and Supplier Management
• Gather requirements with stakeholders, design concepts, and configure systems to meet evolving needs
• Lead configuration, testing, and deployment from design to go-live
• Prepare estimates, plans, and testing strategies aligned to requirements
• Analyze and validate configurations for existing and new processes, reporting, and data structures
• Collaborate with finance leaders to identify gaps and propose system-driven improvements
• Facilitate design reviews and walkthroughs with owners, SMEs, and end users
• Present options with trade-offs, risks, and recommendations for decision-making
• Drive enhancements, new capabilities, and enterprise transformation initiatives
• Participate in change management, user enablement, and post-go-live support

Key requirements

• 5+ years in enterprise financial or ERP platforms including design, configuration, implementation, and production support (Workday Financials strongly preferred)
• Deep knowledge of finance and planning domains: core financials, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, projects, expenses, supplier management
• Experience translating requirements into scalable system solutions
• Proven end-to-end application development lifecycle experience: design, testing, deployment, support
• Experience delivering large-scale ERP or enterprise cloud transformations
• Excellent written and verbal English; Mandarin a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work across geographies and cross-functional teams
• Experience integrating ERP/finance platforms with third-party systems
• Ability to adapt to change and manage competing priorities
