Overview

In this role you support the placement and servicing of political violence and terrorism insurance in the wholesale market. You’ll work with clients, insurers, and internal teams to structure, negotiate, and place coverage that fits complex risk profiles. You’ll build market relationships, deepen expertise, and help grow a strategic product line. This hybrid Norwich role offers development, collaboration, and impact within a specialist broking team.

Responsibilities

• Support the placement of political violence and terrorism insurance into the wholesale market
• Build and maintain relationships with insurers, clients, and internal stakeholders
• Assist with broking presentations, submissions, market slips, endorsements, and renewal documentation
• Structure tailored solutions based on client risk profiles and coverage needs
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with carrier partners
• Manage day-to-day servicing of accounts with accuracy and high service standard
• Stay informed on market developments and emerging risks
• Support new business opportunities and growth of the practice
• Maintain regulatory compliance and professional standards
• Provide technical support and contribute to a collaborative team

Key requirements

• Experience in insurance broking, ideally in political violence and terrorism
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
• Confidence in working with clients, insurers, and internal teams
• Good commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
• Strong written and verbal presentation skills
• Proactive, organized, and professional approach
• Cert CII, or studying toward it (ideal)
