Overview

In this role you will support a specialist Employment Practices Litigation team within a leading international law firm. You will manage EPL claims for insurers and insureds, provide policy and coverage advice, and navigate cases from pre-litigation to contested proceedings. You will collaborate with partners and senior lawyers, contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing, and help develop client relationships and business initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of EPL claims for insurers and insureds
  • Advise on policy coverage issues (D&O and management liability)
  • Handle claims from pre-litigation through to contested proceedings
  • Deliver high-quality, timely advice aligned with client expectations
  • Contribute to team development, training, and process improvements
  • Support business development and client relationship activity
  • Capture and collate Management Information per client requirements

Key requirements

  • Circa 1–3 years PQE with experience in EPL or employment litigation
  • Solid grounding in employment law and tribunal procedures
  • Insurance experience (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of litigation processes and case management
  • Ability to deliver commercial, pragmatic solutions
  • Confidence in building client relationships and collaborative work style
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal IT systems
