As Associate Building Services Engineer (Mechanical) you will deliver mechanical design across private and public sectors, supporting projects from feasibility to delivery. Responsibilities
- Deliver portfolios of work across the private and public sectors, managing contracts
- Prepare designs, feasibility studies, technical reports and contract documents
- Carry out building analysis and system design calculations
- Liaise with Clients and Contractors
- Ensure projects are delivered accurately and on time
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and graduates
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements
Key requirements
- HND/Degree in Building Services Engineering (Mechanical) or related discipline or equivalent qualification
- No restrictions to obtain Security Clearance for secure projects
- Significant experience in mechanical building services/HVAC design (domestic water, ventilation, heating, cooling)
- Strong working knowledge of IES, Hevacomp, and AutoCAD; Revit MEP desirable
- Understanding of UK Building Regulations and Low/Zero Carbon Technologies and BREEAM
- In-depth understanding of construction industry design processes and procurement
- Proven design skills across a range of sectors
