Overview

In this role you install, commission and maintain water reuse systems to maximize efficiency and user benefit. You will work within a team to deliver sustainable water solutions, handling on-site commissioning, safety compliance, and technical troubleshooting. The position involves extensive UK travel and site-based problem solving to support ongoing system performance. You’ll contribute to innovative, field-scale water projects that reduce mains water reliance and improve client outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Plan, coordinate and complete commissioning tasks to high standard
  • Prepare system assessments and detailed reports with recommendations
  • Attend site visits to provide technical advice and guidance
  • Work in line with health & safety requirements and site RAMS
  • Carry out control panel upgrades and replacements
  • Service and repair booster pumps, booster sets, filters and pipework
  • Replace or repair pressure vessels, UV filtration units and bulbs
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical programme faults; upload programmes to Schneider and Crouzet PLCs
  • Perform pump programming, continuity and load testing; safely isolate electrical supplies

Key requirements

  • 3 years’ experience in construction or water sector
  • Level 3 Electrical Qualification (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience with water, pump or building services systems (preferred)
  • Control panels, filters, pipework, booster pumps and booster sets
  • Pressure vessels (in panels and free-standing)
  • UV filtration units and bulbs
  • Contactors, isolators, junction boxes
  • Schneider PLCs
  • Crouzet PLCs
