In this role you will lead public health design within an MEP discipline for rail projects, delivering detailed specifications and coordinating 3D BIM models. You will ensure compliance with building regulations and standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PH design with other disciplines. Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed design specifications for Public Health across projects
  • Create BIM/CAD mark-ups and coordinate PH design in 3D models
  • Review 3D models for coordination with MEP, Fire, Architectural and Structural disciplines
  • Prepare PH design calculations and verify compliance with standards and client requirements
  • Ensure PH design complies with industry standards and project specifics

Key requirements

  • Technical knowledge of Public Health design aspects (water services, sanitation drainage, surface water drainage, fire suppression, gas services)
  • Strong understanding of building regulations and British Standards
  • Experience with 3D design software (Bentley MicroStation, RevitMEP)
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
