Overview

As an Account Executive at Gartner Global Exhibitor Sales, you drive conference exhibitor revenue by building relationships with senior IT leaders and cross-functional teams. You will contribute to double-digit growth within a world-class sales organization, leveraging your consultative sales experience and industry knowledge. You’ll own end-to-end sales processes, from prospecting to renewal, and travel to multiple conferences annually to meet clients. This role offers uncapped earnings and strong development opportunities within a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve quota for Total Sales Bookings and drive net revenue growth across assigned conferences/clients
  • Plan accounts and manage territory effectively while collaborating with lead generation
  • Maintain pipeline at 3x the value of sales forecast and develop robust forecasts (30/60/90 days)
  • Coordinate with Gartner lines of business and resources for integrated solutions
  • Conduct renewal activities focused on client needs and high-level relationships
  • Develop and present integrated solutions based on contract offerings
  • Demonstrate solid business acumen and industry expertise in conversations with clients
  • Ensure compliant use of sales enablement tools (Salesforce) and booking processes
  • Deliver high-quality Gartner-format presentations
  • Travel to 5+ conferences per year and client/competitive events

Key requirements

  • 4+ years of proven consultative sales experience
  • Experience in high-tech industries (services, software, or hardware) preferred
  • Ability to understand enterprise-wide issues and craft integrated, marketing-supportive solutions
  • Knowledge of issues faced by C-level Sales and Marketing leaders
  • Understanding of business buying centers and account knowledge
  • Ability to travel to conferences and client meetings
