In this role you lead complex defence infrastructure programmes, ensuring on-schedule delivery within budget while meeting contractual obligations. You will manage multiple work fronts in regulated environments, coordinating stakeholders and the supply chain. You shape project execution through plans and governance, driving technical and commercial excellence. Responsibilities

  • Represent the client and subcontractors during programme execution
  • Negotiate scope changes with client and subcontractors
  • Oversee project documents: execution plan, HSE, QA/QC plans
  • Define delivery requirements and monitor deliverables for compliance
  • Plan, direct and control project execution across business, technical, fiscal and admin functions
  • Mobilise resources and assemble project teams with capability leads
  • Develop budgets, schedules and plans; monitor progress against targets
  • Address cost overruns or scope changes with clients and management
  • Promote QA processes and report progress and milestones
  • Perform other project responsibilities as needed

Key requirements

  • Leadership experience at project director/leadership level
  • Strong technical background with infrastructure project management experience
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams with pan-domain expertise
  • Systems thinking for complex multi-stakeholder environments
  • Excellent written and oral communications and knowledge of industry practices and regulations
  • Desirable: experience in Defence, nuclear environments, NEC4 contracts
  • Desirable: experience with Tier 1 contractors
  • Security clearance readiness (UK MoD SC)
