Finance Manager

Overview

In this role you own the financial performance of a major client contract in Central London. You’ll partner with operational leadership to deliver insights, drive commercial results, and act as the main client finance contact. You’ll lead a small finance team, manage budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting, and steer contract renewals and variations. This is a hands-on, client-facing position within a growing global organisation that rewards proactive financial leadership and governance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial performance and profitability of the contract
• Deliver monthly reporting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Be the primary financial contact for the client and their consultants
• Lead financial aspects of contract renewals and business planning
• Manage variation orders with costing, pricing and margin analysis
• Collaborate with operations to identify risks, opportunities and cost-saving initiatives
• Ensure revenue capture, billing and cash recovery is timely
• Maintain strong financial controls and governance across the account
• Lead, coach and develop the finance team
• Support annual budgeting and planning processes

Key requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Experience in Finance Manager, Commercial Finance or Contract Finance roles
• Background in service delivery, facilities management, engineering, property or project-based environments
• Experience managing client relationships and presenting financial information to stakeholders
• Strong commercial awareness in pricing, forecasting and contract management
• Experience leading and developing finance teams
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting capabilities
